Dear all attendees!

We are so excited to welcome you again for this year camp! This year we are hosting 266 guests for the conference day. I would like to highlight a few important information and some handy guide in this post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First and foremost WordCamp is a non-profit event organized by volunteers with financial transparency. Fellow organizers<\/a> worked hard for the past few months to make this event happen. Therefore, we need you to read and abide by the code of conduct<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets & Check-in Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every attendee requires a valid ticket to access the conference halls. Tickets are now sold out and we are unable to accommodate walk-in and plus one guest. You can view the attendee list here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During check-in, please show your ticket confirmation email from your phone. You do not need to print the confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The registration counter will only open at 8:00 am<\/strong> on Saturday 2 November 2019<\/strong>. Breakfast is not<\/strong> provided in the morning. However, we’ll have coffee and tea. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration counter<\/strong> is marked Blue<\/strong> on the layout above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track 1<\/strong> will be at Manhattan I<\/strong> & Track 2<\/strong> will be at Bronx III<\/strong>. Holding Room (Bronx I<\/strong>) is for speakers and organizers only – we ask attendees not to access this room. Opening remarks and closing will take place at Manhattan 1<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All these halls located at Level 14<\/strong>, Berjaya Times Square Hotel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children’s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Children’s below 12 years old can attend WordCamp free of charge and must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. However, the hotel policy does not admit children for lunch. So parents\/guardians need to make alternative arrangement for the lunch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting there<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Getting to the right place at the right time can be tricky here. Berjaya Times Square consists of Mall, Hotel, Apartments and University. Please read Directions to WordCamp KL<\/a> for more information on the parking<\/strong> and public transportations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We recommend you to come early. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are attending WordCamp KL for the first time, read first-timers guide <\/a>to make most of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contributor Day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Contributor Day and Workshops will take place on 1st November 2019 (Friday). Please read more here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actual cost per person per day is RM 250. Thanks to our sponsors to bring the cost down to RM 79. Please check out our sponsors here<\/a>. We have sponsor booths during the conference day. Feel free to visit them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help & Info<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the conference day, the Organizers and event volunteers (individuals who help the organizers on the event day) will be wearing Yellow<\/strong> colour t-shirt. If you need any help, please talk to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
