All speakers and panelists volunteer their time and labor, and pay their own travel and accommodation costs. This is a community event, and we ask you to strongly adhere the <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.kualalumpur.wordcamp.org\/code-of-conduct\/\">WordCamp Code of Conduct<\/a>. Basically this means to be kind, inclusive and understanding of others, and follow the GPL!<\/p>\n<h2>Tickets<\/h2>\n<p>Only those with a valid ticket will be allowed to access the conference. You should be able to see your name on the <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.kualalumpur.wordcamp.org\/attendees\/\">attendees list<\/a> if your ticket is confirmed. If you have bought tickets but do not see your name on the list, please email to support@wp.org.my. No walk-in guest will be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>If you see your company name in the attendee list, you need to edit those and update your actual name to be able to check-in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you can no longer come, please <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.kualalumpur.wordcamp.org\/contactus\/\">contact us<\/a> about donating your ticket to someone else.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Time<\/h2>\n<p>Registration opens at <strong>7:45 am<\/strong> on <strong>25th November 2017<\/strong>. T-shirt sizes and global sponsor swag are given on a\u00a0<strong>first-come, first-serve basis<\/strong>. We encourage you to come early. Coffee and sandwiches are provided in the morning. All tracks will start exactly at the time specified on the <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.kualalumpur.wordcamp.org\/schedule\/\">schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Venue<\/h2>\n<p>The venue for this event is Royale Chulan Bukit Bintang. There is another hotel with a similar name in Kuala Lumpur.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/2017.kualalumpur.wordcamp.org\/2017\/11\/22\/wckl-venue-royale-chulan-bukit-bintang-hotel\/\">Read this post<\/a> for details about the venue and public transport. Be sure to come to the right place!<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Grand Ballroom (Track 1)<\/strong> and <strong>Tiara<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Room (Track 2)<\/strong>\u00a0is located at second floor. Please access through lifts at the lobby. The hotel security policy require all participants to wear lanyards all the time when accessing the first &amp; second floor rooms.<\/p>\n<h2>Parking<\/h2>\n<p>Basement parking is available at the hotel for a FLAT rate of RM 8.00.<\/p>\n<h2>Breakout sessions<\/h2>\n<p>We will have 2 tracks running concurrently. You can attend any session and switch rooms at any time (please try not to be disruptive of sessions). Both <strong>Grand Ballroom (Track 1)<\/strong> and <strong>Tiara Room (Track 2)<\/strong> are located on the second floor of the hotel.<\/p>\n<h2>Lanyard<\/h2>\n<p>During registration, you will receive your nametag and lanyard. Please ensure you wear these <strong>all the time<\/strong>. Access to lunch and conference sessions will be denied if you lose your lanyard.<\/p>\n<h2>BYOD<\/h2>\n<p>You can bring your own device if you want to. However the hotel is unable to provide power points and we <strong>cannot<\/strong> allow you to use your own power extension cables, for safety reasons. Limited charging stations are available to use. However, laptops are not necessary for sessions.<\/p>\n<h2>WiFi<\/h2>\n<p>Limited WiFi is available at the conference hall.<\/p>\n<h2>Sponsors<\/h2>\n<p>Thank you to all our <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.kualalumpur.wordcamp.org\/sponsors\/\">sponsors<\/a>.
